Insurance Customer Service Representative

Description

• Payrate: English $17 ; Spanish bilingual $18.50.
• Starting Date: September 29, 2025
• For training, 30 days fully onsite. Training schedule is 9:30 AM EST to 6 PM EST
• After training, Hybrid: 10:30 AM EST to 7 PM EST. Hybrid schedule is based on meeting adherence, quality, and attendance expectations
• Worksite Location: 700 Tower Drive, Troy, Michigan, 48098, United States

NO TIME OFF IN FIRST 6 WEEKS

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for handling inbound calls about insurance servicing questions (w ill be handling about 35-45 inbound calls per day, depending on how long each call lasts)

• Will receive questions from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.

• The insurance questions will pertain to homeowner's insurance and will be from borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions.

• Majority of calls will be regarding payment and/or coverage questions.

• Problem-solving and problem resolution skills are required, as well as the ability to handle all calls professionally.

Must have:

• At least 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center experience is preferred, but will consider candidates with front desk/admin experience - not just retail or food service)

• Efficient in using a windows PC computer and navigating their software system (super easy to learn)

• Typing: At least 35 WPM

• Good verbal and written communication skills (will be on the phone all day and be required to follow up via email in some instances)

• Internet connection - will be required to train remote and work remote.

• Reliable transportation

Nice to have:

• 2+ years of call center experience

• Insurance or mortgage experience

• Entry Level

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
