Neonatology Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant (PA)

Seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) with extensive Level III NICU experience to provide locum tenens coverage. This is a full-time, in-house role and no additional call responsibilities. Candidates must be NCC Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and have a strong background in neonatal critical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for Level III NICU patients.
• Manage critically ill neonates, including ventilation, resuscitation, and advanced procedures.
• Work collaboratively with neonatologists and NICU nursing staff.
• Participate in daily rounding on assigned patients.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance using Epic EMR.

Pay package is negotiable including travel and lodging

Qualifications & Requirements

• Extensive experience in a Level III NICU
• Licensed in Pennsylvania (PA) or eligible for IMLC licensing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Board certification required for physician assistants.
